Atlas 8 Wheel Tippers serve up new media centre
The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Church Road, Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious sporting venues in the world. Keeping up to date with the latest technology and broadcasting opportunities is a must to ensure coverage of the sport that takes place at the grounds is of the highest possible quality, hence the development of a new, permanent Media Centre within the grounds.
The project
Interviews, commentary and punditry are all part of the sporting stage. The AELTC realise the importance of this and are creating a permanent Media Centre within the grounds of the club. To help with the development of the centre, waste from the site needed to be cleared. With 50 year’s experience, Atlas Bulk Carriers were perfect for the job. Our 8 Wheel Tipper Lorries have cleared 70 loads of muck from the site already, with more planned over the next few months.
Successful Muck Away
With strict security regulations and site times in place our 8 wheel tippers were scheduled to remove 140 tonnes of muck over a period of several days. With each of our vehicles having a carrying capacity of approximately 19 Tonnes the waste was removed quickly and efficiently.
This is an ongoing project that Atlas are happy to be a part of to help ensure top class coverage is served up throughout the Championships.
